John Wesley's Story
There comes a time in most parents life where they feel that they have received
satisfaction in the raising of their child. Where they know that some of the seeds they
have planted will bare fruit, where they know, without a doubt that they have
something special. We had this in John Wesley. He was a special little boy. The
amount of spirit, compassion and life that John Wesley lived only fills the mind with
future accomplishments, changed lives, and courage to make a difference that few of
us will only hope to have.
John Wesley had a fantastic way of bringing light and laughter into a room. A sort of
acknowledgement of life that he brought with him. The attraction to him for this was
felt even by those who didn't know him. This light and laughter that was so addicting,
has now passed. The light we see now is from the lives that he touched while living his
life and from those who are touched and changed by his story.
John Wesley was a healthy 9 year old little boy enjoying the afternoon playing
football with me in my parents front yard two days after Thanksgiving 2006. With no
warning at all, he collapsed. I administered CPR for about 15 minutes until the
EMT's arrived and shocked his heart on the scene and then several times at the
hospital. He suffered Sudden Cardiac Arrest . He never had any signs or symptoms of
any heart problems. Please visit our links on our about us page and learn more about
